The Best Tests
Here are the tests I’ve found to best address the issues that are factors in declining health and cancers. William M Lee, MD, F.A.C.E.P

Blood Tests – at any lab of your choosing- allow 2 to 7  days for results

Thyroid Testing, which includes TSH, Free T3, Free T4,
Inflammation: CRP- HS,
Inherited Heart Disease: VAP test, Clotting tendencies, Hypercoagulation:
HEMEX test and Parasites / Spirochete Fry test

Saliva Test – Male and Female Sex Hormones ($290) and Cortisol ($250) (combined cost of sex hormone and cortisol levels $490)
This test must be done first thing in the morning. It can be done on any morning for menopausal women and men. For women who are cycling, the saliva test  should be done on the 20th to 23rd day of  the cycle. The first day of the period being counted as day one. Do not  have anything to drink, brush your teeth or apply lipstick before the test. It may take up to  30 minutes until one tube is half full with saliva.  Smelling food or  a lemon may be  helpful to stimulate saliva production. Read the instructions  carefully on the back of the form, especially if you are testing for  Cortisol  levels as well.

Gastrointestinal Testing (stool)    $450
Comprehensive GI Testing looks for yeast, ova and parasites, bacteria, blood, tape worms and a limited food allergy panel to gluten, soy and eggs.

ALCAT Test (Food Allergy, Chemical Sensitivity Test and Mold Test) Price depends on which panel is being done.
The blood draw for this test must be done in the Lee Clinic, LLC.   Appointments must be made in the mornings, Monday through Friday to allow for fed-ex pickup.

Heavy Metal Urine Test ($380) is the standard for testing for heavy metals. A DMSA pill is taken  before you collect your urine over 6 hours and then send off the urine to the lab. This test includes looking at levels of  Lead, Arsenic, Mercury, etc.

Neurotransmitters,Mitochondrial/ Metabolic analysis and Environmental toxins are urine tests and can be ordered on your own, since the tests come back with complete reports and the nutrients can be provided by The Lee Clinic,LLC.  Blood lab tests can be from three to five times more expensive than saliva and urine tests. The technology of these specialty labs has brought unique tests at affordable prices that many insurancecompanies will reimburse. Metabolic Analysis and Environmental toxin are two tests that can be combined. When the Metabolic and Toxin Urine tests are combined the cost is $600.

Neurotransmitter Urine Test – $238
All Patients should contact their insurance companies to see if these tests are covered and how they might be reimbursed. Patients can then provide their insurance information to NeuroScience,who will  then bill the patient’s insurance company.   The patients will be balance billed by neuroscience  if the entire cost of the tests are not covered by the patient’s insurance policy.  The reports have comments and recommendation to assist the doctor and patient with appropriate intervention.
